Each chalet is unique in character but all cosy and intimate and perfect for that magical retreat where relaxation is priority one. Each chalet features a kitchen, fireplace, separate bedroom, DVD player, private balconies and most even have their own spa baths and BBQ's. An added touch to these unique accommodations is that each chalet has a theme name to go with the enchanted nature of the forest setting.
You might stay in Cinderella's cabin, Snow white's cabin, a cabin named after one of the seven dwarves or the most luxurious and modern cabin - the wicked witch, complete with its own spa bath. There's also the Springbrook Mountain Vineyard right across the road so that's a good excuse to take a leisurely walk or bike ride to the cellar door for a sample of some fine wines. The Hinterland is the Gold Coast's natural theme park (along with its famous beaches, of course) located just 30 minutes drive from the coastal strip.
The Hinterland contains an amazing 29 national parks and nature reserves, World Heritage-listed national parks, Australia's largest area of subtropical rainforest, the world's biggest volcanic caldera (of which Mt Warning is the core) and 300kms of walking trails. Well-signposted roads meander through subtropical rainforests hundreds of metres above sea level, with lookouts providing breathtaking views back to the coastal strip and Surfers skyline.
