One of Kalbarris big attractions is fishing and to maximise your chances of a good catch, join a full day deep sea fishing tour aboard the Kalbarri Explorer.
The tours are fun and the guides use science to increase the chances of catching plenty. An echo sounder is a scientific device that can trace fish, so you can cast lines accordingly. The tours are fully serviced, cost $130 per person and include bait, tackle, rods, reels and an abundance of local knowledge.
After experiencing coastal Kalbarri, head inland to see the wildflowers. From July to November Kalbarris countryside explodes into colour with the most amazing floral display.
A great place to experience it is an hour out of town at Eurardy Station - a one stop flower show. Eurardys owner Margaret runs tours of the 30,000 hectare station to enable visitors to see a variety of the propertys 983 different species of wildflower.
Due to the large size of the station trekking around on a bus and disembarking at places of interest is a good way to see it all. Margaret stays with the group throughout the tour to answer any questions that may pop up. With varieties such as native foxglove, caliatrix and deelziana, Eurardy really is a perfect floral showcase.
Kalbarri Coach Tours run the full day tours to Eurardy Station twice a week during wildflower season. The cost is $93.50 per person with lunch included.
