A paraglider is a foot launched aerofoil canopy designed to be flown and landed by no other energy source than the wind, gravity and the pilots muscle power.

With four large launch areas for nearly every wind direction, Mount Borah is one of the best mountains in the world for paragliding.

Manilla Paragliding offers tandem flights as well as two day introduction courses and longer full licence workshops.

Before taking off on a tandem flight, new paragliders are kitted out with protective gear and given a 10 minute briefing about the dos and donts of paragliding.

The great thing about tandem flights is that anyone of any age can take part. The feeling of gliding through the sky like a bird is a truly unique experience. But be warned - paragliding is addictive, so once you start youll never want to stop.
