Originally home to the Biripi people, the property is surrounded by tree carvings created by a local artist. In turn, the place is just like a museum complete with numerous paintings and artefacts.Bush BBQs are available on site and they all start with a traditional Koori welcoming. The meal is then made up of fish wrapped in tea tree bark and steamed in its own juices under the coals, fresh pippies, kangaroo curry, and kangaroo kebabs. As you enjoy the delicious bush food you can listen to legends of the Biripi people, and a few songs to the sounds of the didgeridoo. The next thing is a chance to explore the 2000-acre property. There is heaps to do and it's all free. You can go canoeing on the river, mountain biking along the bush trails, and, for the bizarre combination of the two - surf biking. Surf biking is a relaxing way to see the river on what's not quite a surfboard, and not quite a bike. When you have finished surf biking, about a 15-minute drive from Nundoo-bah is the quaint little town of Tinonee, home to some fantastic artwork.
