The city of Sydney has a temperate climate with warm summers and cool winters, and rainfall spread throughout the year. Winter is in the middle of the year and summertime at the end.

The summer season is from December through to February, with an average temperature of of 18.6–25.8 °C (65–78 °F). In the winter months of June through to August, the average minimum temperature is around 9°C (47-48 degrees°F).
