Located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane along the New England Highway, Uralla is known for its connection with the bushranger Captain Thunderbolt and the town features his grave, Thunderbolt's Rock, where he hid to watch the stage coaches come up the hill, and his memorial statue, situated in the middle of town.
Uralla is an Aboriginal word of the Anaiwan people meaning "meeting place".
London... certainly one of the most expensive cities in the world to visit especially for us Aussies, so wouldn't you like to know how to do it on the cheap?
