Jenolan Caves is one of the largest cave systems in Australia, with the caves dating back to over 340 million years. It’s unique location, set in the stunning Australian bush land, provides the ideal surroundings for adventure. Views are decorated with an array of breath-taking flora, with wildlife abundant. We offer a variety of cave tours, where your eager guide will describe the processes of nature that formed this natural marvel, as you discover chambers illuminated by astounding features.
There are 10 outstanding show caves. A maze of ancient limestone caverns richly draped with exotic mineral deposits cut through by subterranean rivers. For those who wish to venture beyond the cut paths and fixed lighting, there are guided adventure tours where, with only your headlamp to light the way, you can squeeze, scramble and scale through ancient chambers.
Stir your senses with memorable sights, sounds and spectacular settings with an afternoon of marvelous concerts in the highest chamber at Jenolan reaching up to 54 metres high, the Cathedral Chamber. Dine at the licensed restaurant where you can enjoy a break either indoors (in the warmth of an open wood fireplace - wonderful in winter) or outdoors on the huge verandah of Caves House (under the wisteria in summer).
