Wentworth Falls has a good collection of Victorian and other historic buildings and excellent trails into the Blue Mountains National Park. It offers spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and boasts the magnificent waterfall for which it is named. It has been a tourist destination for 130 years. The village of Wentworth Falls offers a peaceful atmosphere with many small shops, cafes, a country club and golf course and the Weatherboard Inn.

The falls can be viewed from what is claimed to be the best bushwalk in the mountains - the National Pass. Just south of the town of Wentworth Falls there are views of the Jamison Valley and of the 300m Wentworth Falls themselves, from Falls Reserve, which is the starting point for a network of walking tracks. Take a look at the cool but pure Wentworth Falls Lake, which has something for everyone, including picnic and barbecue facilities, safe swimming, shelter and a childrens playground. Be sure to bring extra food for the geese and ducks.

A walk into the Blue Mountains National Park from here takes in spectacular natural attractions including Breakfast Point Lookout, Princes Rock Lookout, Queens Cascades and Rocket Point Lookout.
