Louth is a small town located 99km south-west of Bourke and 132km north west of Cobar in Outback NSW. Louth is situated on the eastern banks of the Darling River and has a community pub, cafe, corner store, school, tennis club and turf club.
Louth is famous for the annual Louth Races held each August. This event attracts crowds of over five thousand people to this historic town. Louth was founded in the 1800s and is rich in Irish and Chinese history. Some historic buildings and monuments still stand in the centre of the town.
