Sawtell, hemmed between the unspoiled waterways of Boambee and Bonville Creeks, Bongil Bongil National Park and scenic mountain ranges to the west, is a peaceful holiday resort. Despite being a designated suburb of Coffs Harbour, it has retained its quiet village atmosphere.
Sawtell has a great beach, which lies between Boambee Head and Bonville Head, with a popular tidal rock pool at the southern end of the beach.
The town centre consists of one beautiful tree lined, shady main street which has great coffee shops, cinema, a friendly pub and a sizeable RSL club. The town also has a croquet lawn, bowling greens, squash and tennis courts and a golf club. There is a wide range of accommodation available from resorts and B&B's to beach frontage caravan and camping areas.Photos
