Renowned for its excellent surfing waves, Boomerang beach is a popular family beach for those holidaying in the Pacific Palms area. Beyond the town centre and up Headland Drive is Boomerang Point shadowing the stunning and relatively untouched Boomerang Beach. Blueys Beach is just around the corner on the southern side of the headland.

In recent times Boomerang and Blueys (named a after a cow that fell of the cliff) has become a fashionable and luxurious destination for Sydneysiders seeking a tranquil retreat. Bordered to the north by Booti Booti National Park’s headland and rocky outcrop, Charlotte Head, provides ideal snorkelling, rock pools and shelter. Whilst the southern headland is the location of the ideal waves that surfers enjoy. The white sand, crystal clear waters and frolicking dolphins make Boomerang the perfect family beach, especially when patrolled in summer.

At Boomerang, there are rocky outcrops at both the north and south ends of the beach, which provides good, sheltered conditions depending on winds. The northern ends of both beaches have protection from the north-easterly winds that blow through mainly in summer.
