There are many beaches that are encompassed by the Pacific Palm area. The patrolled Elizabeth Beach and the sand bar near the boat shed on Smith's lake are perfect for families and especially young children, as they are protected for the surf and swell. Boats can also be hired from the boat shed. Shelley's beach is another more secluded and clothing optional beach.

Pacific Palms is a favourite getaway for holidaymakers on the north coast. The area was primarily designed as a retirement and tourist village, promoting relaxation and leisure.
