Situated on the northern side of the Camden Haven, the town of North haven is extremely picturesque. Hugging the Camden Haven River, North Haven boasts great fishing spots and facilities upon which are numerous jetties, boat ramps and fish cleaning tables.
Queens Lake and Watson Taylors are also noted local hot spots. They filter into the South Pacific Ocean and create plenty of fish habitats that are great for fishing for bream and flathead or collecting oysters, lobsters and crabs.
The town is also surrounded by state forests and national parks, the jewel of the crown being Crowdy Bay National Park, a haven for more than 100 bird species, rocky outcrops, pools, forests and spectacular headlands and beaches.Photos
