Weather for South West Rocks

South West Rocks is where Macleay River meets the sea. The beautiful area has clear aquamarine waters, tiny coves, and peaceful bays, and is surrounded by lush green forest.

The area has eight beautiful beaches, numerous river tributaries and is home to the Arakoon State Recreation Area.

Trial Bay Gaol is a must-see. Opened in 1886, it is built from locally quarried pink granite. Smokey Cape Lighthouse affords stunning views of the area.

Don't Miss:

Historic Trial Bay Gaol. Dating back to the late 19th century, and built from locally quarried pink granite, it was first opened in 1886. Closed in 1903, it was later reopened to house German internees during World War 1. Open daily 9am-4.30pm. Closed Christmas Day
Smoky Cape Lighthouse
Fish Cave Rock were you can watch aquatic species that are unique to this area
Werrikimbe National Park - here you will find rare native animals with some species near on extinction.
