Focusing on the Richmond River this area includes the city of Ballina and the townships of Lennox Head, Teven, Alstonville, Evans Head, Coraki, Woodburn & Broadwater. Ballina Shire is a quieter alternative to Byron Bay but with all the attractions. Ballina boasts a domestic airport, shopping malls, cinemas, cafes & restaurants, miles of cycleways. While the hinterland is, scattered with macadamia & coffee plantations, pristine beaches and national parks. There is a range of accommodation including resorts, motels, guest houses, caravan parks, self contained apartments and holiday houses.
