Weather for Belongil

Belongil is a gorgeous waterfront suburb located at the entrance to Byron Bay, on the Far North Coast of NSW. With its long stretch of beachfront and ultra trendy holiday houses, Belongil is the ideal setting for a romantic rendezvous or relaxed family getaway.

Belongil Beach is one of the few beaches in the area offering beach front holiday houses. It's difficult to pinpoint exactly where Belongil ends and Tyagarah Beach starts, unofficially it begins at Main Beach car park in the centre of town opposite the Beach Hotel up to the Belongil Creek.

It's just a short 10 minute stroll along the beachfront into Byron Bay town centre, allowing you to enjoy the many pleasures of Byron without the hassle of driving. Along the way you might spot whales on their annual migration, silhouetted surfers at dusk, or the odd nude sunbather.

North Belongil Beach is a designated nude bathing area. The legal area is from the car park to about 500 metres north of the Byron Bay Beach Club.
