Wooli is located 685km north of Sydney and is well known for its great fishing.

The town is situated near the mouth of the Wooli River, but is so close to the coast, with the Solitary Island Marine Reserve to the east, it is considered a beach resort town.

Wooli is surrounded by the spectacular Yuraygir National Park, which offers wild bushland, ocean beaches, rugged headlands and river scenery. Visitors to Wooli can relax in this beautiful region where bushland meets the sea.
