This family resort ensures you feel right at home when on your ski trip. Selwyn is undoubtedly good value with prices much less than some other resorts. The aim is to provide affordable and family-friendly ski trips.

Selwyn Snowfields offers some of the best beginners skiing in NSW. Of the 45ha of developed terrain in the park, 40 per cent is dedicated to beginners. For first time skiers and snowboarders, or for anyone wishing to improve their turns, Selwyn Snowfields’ professional team of Snow Sports Instructors are some of the best in the business with programs available for those as young as three.

For those with some more experience under their belt, there are about 22ha of more difficult runs, with the remainder of the runs rated most difficult, or black. For 2007, the resort has turned some focus to boosting children’s attractions, this includes updating the Bogong Jumping Castle and introducing a run especially designated for bigger kids, dubbed ‘the junior riders and sliders’ section.

A wide range of cross country trails, snowplay areas and even a dedicated toboggan run and 2 snowtube parks complements downhill skiing. There are 45km of marked cross-country trails ranging from 2.5km to 15km in length.
