On the banks of the Clyde River's broad sweeping estuary, the seaside resort of Batemans Bay enjoys simply brilliant views both upriver, to the mountains, and seaward to the island dotted horizon.

At Batemans Bay you'll discover plenty of great beaches, suitable for surfers as well as families and don't miss the chance to feast on locally caught / farmed seafood for some of the best eating on the South Coast.

Other great things to do include:

Eucalypt Trail - Batemans Bay: The Trail is about 500 metres long, winding through a tall wet bush land boasting 11 different eucalypt species. The trail features wooden steps and signs interpreting the eucalypt species of the area. There are BBQ areas with covered tables, bins and toilet facilities.

Batemans Bay Markets: Batemans Bay High School Markets on Beach Road - Held on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 8.30am to 1pm.

Lobster Pot Markets in Batemans Bay - Held on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 8.30am to 1pm
