Candelo is a tiny yet charming, attractive and historically significant village nestled in rich dairy and beef country. Most notable among Candelo's buildings is the beautiful St Peter's Anglican Church, built in 1906, this is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in the area.

Go to the annual Candelo Show. Famous for its dairy produce, winners often progress to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Events include, horse events, miniature ponies, cattle judging, dog high jump, goat judging, chain saw demonstration, farm produce & art
Head to the Candelo Market, held the first Sunday of the month. This popular market attracts a large number of locals & tourists. Over 350 stalls boast bargains galore, entertainment & food. The Market overflows from the sports ground, to the adjacent park, Town Hall & footpaths of the town. Mostly accessible to disabled people, there are new handicapped toilets in the park & in the town hall which is open on market days
