Weather for Sussex Inlet

Sussex Inlet is located just a 10 minute drive off the Princes Highway. This tranquil island village is known for its natural bush settings, wildlife, waterways, and parklands – the perfect place for family fun.

The township consists of approximately 2400 people and is located 200 kilometres south of Sydney and about 50km south east of Nowra. As the name implies, Sussex Inlet is surrounded by a tapered, twisting stretch of water – connecting the Tasman Sea to St Georges Basin. Ideal for fishing and water sports, day trips, short or long breaks, Sussex Inlet provides a plethora of outdoor activities for the whole family, and is often referred to as a prestige island getaway.

Constantly expanding, this quaint town offers all things modern including movies, entertainment, quality clubs, cafes, shops and the new Aquatic Centre which includes playgrounds, tennis courts and barbecues. Since commercial fishing has ceased, fisherman visiting the area are sure to be delighted by the amount of bream and flathead available. Boat hire is easily accessible.
