From sophisticated harbourside suburbs to famous beaches like Bondi, the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney offer a relaxed lifestyle with more than a few surprises. The area is well serviced by public transport, making it easy to get around and readily accessible for travellers.

You can find great boutique shopping in Paddington, which is also home to the famous Oxford Street, beautiful parklands such as Centennial Park, Fox Studios entertainment precinct and Randwick Racecourse.

Watsons and Double Bay are trendy suburbs located right on the Sydney Harbour waterfront, and are literally bursting with history and culture. If you're keen to sample some of Sydney's famous seafood, be sure to stop off at the iconic Doyles Seafood Restaurant - an absolute must.

Of course no visit to Sydney would be complete without checking out the famous Bondi Beach, which is perhaps Sydney's most famous suburb. The surf, sun and sand are Aussie icons, and Bondi combines this with great restaurants, cafes, trendy shops and more.
