Territory Wildlife Park is just south of Darwin and a great place to view wildlife including crocodiles, the aquarium and a range of bird life where you can get up close to birds of prey.
The Northern Territory offers a wealth of outdoor adventure activities from four wheel driving and bushwalks to excellent fishing spots and scenic flights over beautiful landscapes of red earth, creeks and national parks.
Visit the world famous Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, where you can take the lengthy walk around the huge rock formations base or climb the rock to the top. Uluru is an Aboriginal sacred site and as such it is advised to use an aboriginal guide if you wish to take on the tough 1.6km climb whilst learning about the history of the area around Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Admire the changing colours of Uluru throughout the day as you take a tour by foot, by camel or by air on a helicopter flight.
Experience Aboriginal lifestyle on one of the variety of tours to the outback and enjoy taking part in dances, cultural stories and tasting bush tucker. Or take a 4WD tour to Arnhem Land a region rich in vibrant Aboriginal rock carvings and paintings in the caves around remote Mt. Borradaile in Kakadu National Park.
