Bargara is a 13km drive through lush sugarcane fields from Bundaberg. It is a popular seaside area that harbours a peaceful and relaxed community ideal for enjoyable holidays away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The artifical offshore reef guarantees great fishing all year round! The Hummock has fantastic views looking over Bundaberg to the West, Bundaberg Port, Sugar Terminal and International Port to the North and Elliot Heads and Woodgate Beach to the South; a central pinnacle shaping the surrounding hinterland.

The view overlooks the patchwork of farmland, growing sugar cane, melons and various vegetables, punctuated with turned feilds resting between crops.
