Miami is a popular tourist destination situated on the Gold Coast just up from Burleigh Heads with a magnificent beach and sporting attractions.
Miami has many high and low rise beachfront apartment accommodation and budget motels to choose from. Local amenities include a pharmacy, corner store, petrol stations and factory outlet shops where you can grab a bargain.
The beach has a Surf Lifesaving Club, children's playgrounds and BBQs along the Esplanade as well as regular beach volleyball competitions. Miami is home to the Pizzey Park Sporting Complex, which houses a swimming pool, home of many of Australia's great swimmers, tennis courts and an outdoor skate park. Miami Golf Course is also nearby.
There is a growers market held each Sunday morning on the Miami High School playing fields located on the beachside of the Gold Coast Highway.Photos
