Weather for Coolangatta

Coolangatta is situated on the northern bank of the Tweed River at the Gold Coast, boasting several sandy beaches and a beautiful hinterland backdrop. A popular place to visit and is the southernmost township of the Gold Coast, Coolangatta acts as the gateway between Queensland and New South Wales.

Coolangatta has Queenslands first surf life saving club, formed at Greenmount in 1909. This historic town has grown rapidly since these times now almost 100 years later, it is home to the Gold Coast Airport, countless places the stay and fabulous restaurants and cafes.

Coolangatta is in great proximity to an array of activities such as scenic Tiger Moth and helicopter joy flights and dive sites at Kirra and Cook Island to the south. Stand on Point Danger to spot dolphins, watch circling birds and see the humpback whales migrating in season.
