The beachfront suburb of Palm Beach is located to the north of Currumbin and just south of Tallebudgera and Burleigh Heads.
There are many great places to stay from cabins, caravan and tent options to self contained and luxury accommodation that dominate the coastline. Palm Beach is a great place to sit in a caf and watch the world go by or enjoy fantastic swimming at the beach.
Head to the Surf Life Saving Club with its ocean lookout and maybe grab a bite to eat. Diving sites are located at Palm Beach and close by at Kirra, where there is also excellent surf.
There are some great scenic walks along the Oceanway trail to Tallebudgera Duneway where there are some good fishing spots. Take advantage of the local waterways such as Currumbin and Tallebudgera Creeks to get out on the water and ski or fish or visit the nearby Currumbin Sanctuary to get close to the wildlife.
Palm Beach has previously won the Queensland cleanest beach award and is popular with runners, swimmers and sun worshippers. Regular markets take place all year round and there is a range of dining options to choose from.Photos
