The Southeren Downs is home to the Granite Belt, nestled within Girraween & Sundown National Parks. Close-by is the Bald Rock National Park where you will find Bald rock, a spectacular natural phenomenon that is the greatest monolith after Ayers Rock, and the biggest exposed granite rock in Australia. Rising 200 meters high, it is 750 meters long and 500 meters wide, a 3 hour hike will take you to the summit where you can experience breath-taking views of the national park and surrounding bushland.
A little further south of Bald Rock is Boonoo Boonoo National Park, here you will find the beautiful Boonoo Boonoo River and picturesque waterfalls.Photos
