Sunshine Beach is a beautiful white sand surf beach, located just minutes from Noosa town, and adjacent to the famous Noosa Heads National Park.

Once known as Golden Beach, beautiful Sunshine Beach is dotted with architecturally designed homes along the beachfront. The popular Sunshine Beach Surf Club is set on a hill across the road from the beach, and is a great place to soak up the views of the ocean and maybe catch a glimpse of whales or dolphins out to sea.

Sunshine Beach is a family friendly beach, spacious enough for families to enjoy, and patrolled 7 days a week by professional lifeguards. Sunshine Beach is especially popular with surfers, being renowned for its great surf. Learner surfers can take a surf lesson at the beach, and other water sports including parasailing, wind-surfing and kite-boarding are also popular here.

Sunshine Beach has a laid back feel about it, and tourists flock to the area to soak up the relaxed holiday atmosphere. Duke Street is just a few minutes’ walk from Sunshine Beach, and has plenty of great cafes, bistros and restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood, modern Australian cuisine and tasty breakfasts.

For shoppers, there are numerous stylish boutique shops to wander around. For the golfing enthusiast, the Sunshine Beach area has plenty of golf courses, including a championship course, and with around 300 days of sunshine a year, it’s a golfer’s paradise.
