The stunning Whitsunday Coast is a place of contrasts. The major tourist town of Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday Islands, is a thriving coastal community buzzing with nightlife and backpacker hype. Nearby Bowen is characterised by palm-fringed beaches and a laid back pace of life.

Airlie Beach is set against the magnificent backdrop of rolling national park hills and a deep azure sea. From diving and snorkelling to skydiving and hiking, the Airlie Beach & Bowen region is host to a fantastic range of activities & attractions. Hire a luxury yacht, go scuba diving or try some offshore fishing.

Bowen, just a short drive from the Whitsundays, is half way between Mackay and Townsville. Bowen offers a wide range of accommodation, most of which are on or near the beach.
