Altona is a tiny settlement just to the east on Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley. True to its European founded name, Altona is reminiscent of the European settlement times when the foundations the Barossa Valley, as a wine region, began to grow.

Altona is a fantastic place to go to get away from it all and just relax in the peace and tranquillity of the undulating hills of South Australia. For a place to go where it is just you and the vines, where you donâ€™t see the bustling tourist centres and traffic, Altona is the perfect escape.
