Inverloch is a popular seaside destination on the Bass Coast, offering excellent boat launching facilities and protected waters.
Anderson Inlet, a haven for wind surfers and other water based activities, is shallow and has been described as the most popular estuary in the State. It is constantly changing and at low tide its sandy bottom is exposed and many species of waterbirds banquet on the shores.
The large resident population ensures that most services and facilities are provided in and around the busy retail centre, while accommodation ranges from campsites to cabins, bed and breakfasts and resort style venues.
Nearby is the pristine Bunurong Marine Park, where broad rock formations and reefs are home to a diverse collection of marine species. Adjacent to the park is the George Bass coastal Walk which follows along the coastline and clifftops, offering beautiful panoramic views.Photos
