Seymour is a substantial country town with a population of 7,000 situated by the Goulburn River. It is located on the Goulburn Valley Highway, 98 km north of Melbourne via the Hume Freeway.

Seymour boasts a wide variety of activities and attractions including wineries, rail & military memorabillia, historical buildings & scenic heritage parks. Nature and adventure enthusiasts can enjoy bushwalking, fishing, boating, camping and much more.

There are several events held in Seymour not to be missed. These include The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo, held in February at the Kings Park Showgrounds and the Seymour Show in October.
