The Grampians is renowned not only for its breathtaking rugged ancient landscape, but also features a rich Aboriginal culture, European heritage and a diverse array of native wildlife.
Being one of Victoria’s favourite holiday destinations you will have plenty to see and do while you bask in the breathtaking views that this area is famous for. Wartook valley features year round horse riding, rock climbing, fishing, quad bike tours and much more. Halls Gap is only a short drive from Wartook Valley and features bush walking tracks, great picnic areas and tourist shops.
Other destinations not to be missed while in the Grampians include Pomonal and Dunkeld. Pononal lies just outside the eastern border of the Grampians National Park and is known for its great nurseries and gardens. Dunkeld is a beautiful village that is surrounded by Mt Sturgeon and Mt Abrupt, the highest mountain in southern Grampians.
