Cuballing is an historic town located on the Great Southern Highway roughly 2 ½ hrs southeast of Perth. The local accommodation consists of a hotel, self-contained units and a van park.
Cuballing has many lovely buildings dating from the early 1900s including the newly restored Cuballing Tavern, Post Office and Agricultural Hall.
The Cuballing Tavern, built in 1891, has been known by several names over the years, including Cuballing Pool Hotel, Bullara Hotel and the Cuballing Hotel.
Cuballing Agricultural Hall, situated on Campbell Street, was built and opened in December 1912 - the opening was attended by several parliamentarians.
In 1993 the Cuballing Shire upgraded the Yornaning Dam for recreational swimming and general relaxation. Take a picnic lunch, watch for the waterbirds that inhabit the dam or take a stroll along the nature trails that meander through the bushland. Barbeques and picnic facilities are provided.
