Welcome to Denmark, in the heart of the Great Southern. Denmark is located in the central area of the south coast of Western Australia. Beautiful Denmark is blessed with spectacular coastal scenery, enchanting Karri forests, pristine white beaches, clear blue ocean waters, giant granite boulders and majestic limestone headlands.
A wealth of precious wildflowers and wildlife can be found here, including brushtails possums, the Western grey kangaroo, dozens of coastal bird species, whales and dolphins.
The village of Denmark is hidden amongst the forest and rolling hills of southern WA. There are plenty of things to see and do including visiting art galleries, animal touch farms, horse riding, craft shops, antique shops, restaurants and cafes.
Many artists have been drawn to Denmark for it's tranquil, unspoilt and inspirational aspects. Along the beautiful Scotsdale Tourist Drive, many art studios can be found where gifts and reminders can be purchased.
The beautiful and enchanting natural attractions for which the area is famous, include the towering Karri forests and the inspiring Valley of the Giants tree top walk. The Denmark region has rolling green hills, some of the best beaches in Australia, and a dramatic coastline.Photos
