Weather for Rockingham & Peel Region

Less than an hour south of Perth, Mandurah, Peel & Rockingham offer a variety of activities for day trips and short getaways. Enjoy foreshore parks, golf, rafting, jarrah forest walks, fishing, boating, wineries; a ride on Hotham Valley Tourist Railway; or, viewing fairy penguins on Penguin Island.

Considered the marine playground of Western Australia, Mandurah is a vibrant city noted for its stunning waterways, excellent beaches and superb fishing. Originally separated from Perth City by quite a large gap, the urban sprawl has joined the two together.

Located on Mangles Bay, Rockingham was the site of the first permanent European settlement in Western Australia. Despite being a commuter suburb of Perth, Rockingham has a lovely cosmopolitan village atmosphere and retains a somewhat relaxed beachside character.
