Hong Kong

Located on China’s south coast, Hong Kong is enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and the South China Sea. It is located on the spectacular Victoria Harbour.

This incredible city has, like Macau, an incredible fusion of eastern and western cultures. Old and new are side by side, incense filled temples live along side modern towering skyscrapers.

An attraction tourists must visit is The Peak, located on Hong Kong Island. The views from the top are absolutely incredible! Not only do you see the spectacular Victoria Harbour and Kowloon but you also see the beautiful green rolling hillside, which sits in stark contrast to the towering skyscrapers.

An area well worth visiting is New Territories, here you will find some of the oldest temples and settlements in Hong Kong. Not only will you find these ancient places you will also come across a life size replica of Noah’s Ark located at Ma Wan Park, amazing!

Much of Hong Kong is mountains, forest and islands. There is a great array of flora and fauna, wetlands and conservation sites, all close and easily accessible from the city. It is a destination that will satisfy all tourists, from nature lovers to shoppers.

The climate in Hong Kong is humid and sub tropical, with heavy rains and typhoons sometimes causing problems in summer. The best time to travel is generally between October and April.
