ReplyFood tips for Greece - Moussaka and Gyros, especially Gyros (pita with pork, yoghurt, onion, tomato and hot chips- not very nutritious but very nice). As for Athens, the history is great but the modern side is dirty and full of stray dogs and crazy greek drivers. And beware of Greek-ish time. ...
ReplyI visited Mykonos, Santorini, Athens and Rhodes in 2007 and it was an incredible experience. The people were very welcoming, the scenery spectacular and the architecture just mind blowing. If travelling to Santorini, avoid Fira and go straight to Oia - much quieter, more picturesque.
