Most commonly, people travel to Peru to trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Trekking has long been the best way to see this vast and amazing country. There are many treks but the most popular routes are Cordillera Blanca, Colca Canyon and Ausangate Trek. While trekking you will undoubtedly come across the native highlanders who speak the ancient language of Quechua and live a very traditional life.

On the coast there is a lovely blend of Spanish tongue and African sounds, the rocky coastline is spectacular and home to noisy Sea Lions. There are even fine waves to surf and a neon lit disco filled night life to enjoy.
