Chiswick is a lovely spot on the Thames, and people claim that the nicest stretch of the river is between here and Hampton Court. It is certainly true that there are some lovely riverside walks to enjoy, and plenty of attractive pubs dotted along the way.
Chiswick Mall offers a mile of grand Georgian buildings shoulder-to-shoulder, while Chiswick House is in lovely landscaped gardens. Other local visitor attractions include Hogarth House and Syon Park.
Syon Park is 200 acres of parkland surrounding the home of the Duke of Northumberland, it is a beautiful place to visit and you wont believe it barely ten miles from London. You can explore the grounds after dark and over a thousand lights will guide the way.
