People started flocking to Paddington and Bayswater after the establishment of the Great Western Railway, which had its London terminal in the area. Warwick Avenue and Maida Vale are quite, affluent suburbs that merge seamlessly into one another, and Little Venice, as the name suggests, has grown up around a scenic stretch of canal.
