Harpenden

Harpenden is an old centre for the local agricultural community, it is now much more likely to be home to commuters from London.

One notable feature of Harpenden is its abundant parks and commons, so it is a good place to chillout and escape from the busy, hectic noise of the near-by capital, which is only 25minutes away.

There are a few good local shops, restaurants and pubs, with Billy's a favourite bar, as well as a leisure centre and golf course, but the nearest major amenities such as a cinema are in nearby St Albans or Luton.
