Stow-on-the-Wold, is situated on the Roman Fosse Way in the Cotswolds. At nearly 800ft it is exposed on a high hill at a junction of seven roads and is the highest of the Cotswolds towns.
The village has a long history that dates back to a prehistoric fortified settlement on top of the hill. There are many shops and Inns that are all built in the lovely Cotswold stone, which gives you the feeling youve gone back in time.
Stow-on-the-Wold is renown for its antique shops, and lovely shopping centre, it also has some lovely Art galleries and Gift shops and is a centre for Walking the Cotswolds countryside.
