Winchcombe is a largely unspoilt and attractive market town where you can still find a butchers, bakers and greengrocer.
In Anglo-Saxon times was the capital of the Saxon Kingdom of Mercia. The market place and town centre streets are well worth a wander, lined with beautiful historic architecture.
The towns main attraction is the nearby is Sudeley Castle once a retreat for Tudor and Stuart Monarchs. It has a fascinating history and an array of beautiful gardens around it.
