Bicester is a pretty little Oxfordshire town, thought to date back to Saxon times. First mentioned in the Doomsday book, the name means "Fort of the Warriors".

The town is best known for one big draw - the Bicester Village, a discount designer retail outlet, were youll find some of the worlds most prestigious fashion labels - Hugo Boss, Dior, Diesel, Fred Perry and Britains leading designer Paul Smith, at heavily discounted prices, a fantastic shopping experience.

Bicester can make a quieter base to explore the nearby Cotswolds than the more popular towns.
