Anstey is a beautiful little town in the heart of Leicestershire; it is a gateway to the Charnwood Forest, which you can tell by looking at the 15th century Packhorse Bridge, which straddles the Rothley River.
If you are visiting Anstey and love to walk make sure you take the 6 miles long Centenary Walk where you’ll be able to see the King William III Bridge which was built in 1696. It was built to enable the King to visit the Grey Family at nearby Bradgate Park.
