Bridlington is a jolly resort and fishing town that is centred on a harbour in the Old Town. In the town is an ancient priory that has a 14th century nave and a 12th century gatehouse, which has now been converted into a museum.
Sewerby Hall is another museum perched high on a rock with great views out over the bay. The hall houses galleries featuring art and photographic works, a permanent display on the history of East Yorkshire.
The 50 acre parklands that surround Sewerby Hall has a children’s zoo with friendly residents such as monkeys and llamas, as well as a walled Rose Garden and a beautiful Old English Garden.
