Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond is the world’s most famous loch, being mentioned in many songs and literature pieces. The loch the largest body of water in Great Britain stretching 25 miles long and 5 miles wide, its deepest point is 600 feet.

The Loch has around 38 islands scattered around, some inhabited and some not, one island only occupies a hotel, Inchmurrin.

The area is known for its beauty and tranquillity and offers stunning views in all directions. The area is also a haven for wildlife, 200 species of birds have been recorded.
