Glen Nevis is without a doubt, among the most impressive glens in the Highlands. It's centrepiece and major crowd puller is Britains highest summit, Ben Nevis.
Picture a glistening river that carves through steep, bracken covered slopes, herds of picturesque Highlands cattle grazing between patches of metallic coloured scree and icy green valleys and you will have Glen Nevis.
The highly popular Ben Nevis is famous amongst hikers and constantly frequented by walkers, no matter what the weather. Snow is common here even at the hight of summer, so walkers be warned, Ben Nevis is known for a greater number of perishing victims than Everest.
